We came for a one night stay for our anniversary. The room was spacious, clean and they have wine and cheese waiting for you. Small added touches are lovely. Bed very comfy. We are at the restaurant for supper. We had the hen and seafood pasta. Both were delicious. Cute place. We had breakfast there as well. Salmon eggs Benny exceeded my standards. All the people we talked to were great. They helped us find parking too. Very busy downtown due to Christmas parties. Would stay here again.
My girlfriend booked a night for us and I was extremely impressed with my stay. Our room was so nice, the mini fridge had 2 platters of cheese, grapes and crackers along with wine. The fireplace was a nice touch to set the mood for the evening. The following morning we went downstairs and had an amazing hot breakfast. We were the last one down there for breakfast and we were so grateful that the kitchen was willing to accommodate us. At some point during the meal, our server dimmed the lights down and that gesture was so appreciated. If you want to stay somewhere were you will feel taken care of, don't hesitate to book a stay at this hotel. From the front-desk staff to staff taking care of the rooms, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly attitude. We'll be back to stay again for sure!
Excellent stay. We stayed in the contemporary wing in the Presidential suite. The room was beautiful and so clean. The complimentary wine and cheese were a nice addition. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we’ve slept on. Fabulous complimentary breakfast in the beautiful restaurant. Friendly and courteous staff. We met one of the owners on our way out and she was very personable. We will definitely be staying again! Next time we will try the historical wing
This is such an amazing hotel! From the moment we stepped in the door until we left we were treated so well. We loved the wine and cheese in the evening, had a wonderful park view, and the fireplace was beautiful! The staff is incredible, the hotel is very clean, and our room was even more than we expected. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for such a memorable experience.
Great location and a beautiful building. The rooms are a touch small as a result, but they're tastefully decorated in a way that maximizes storage and floor space. Staff are friendly, and always available. The continental breakfast is second to none, at the Madison grill you get to choose any menu option so it's plated and custom to your taste. Great start overall. Love it. Made our anniversary special and memorable!
We stayed here for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was amazing. From the moment we walked in to the time we left we couldnt of asked for a better romantic getaway then the one we had. They upgraded our room free of charge and allowed us to check in early. The woman at the front desk was incredible kind and helpful. The complimentary wine and cheese was lovely and they added chocolate covered cherries which were delicious. The bed was very comfortable and we had a restful sleep in the gorgeous, clean, beautifully decorated room (We stayed in the heritage wing). The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the service was top notch. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to whoever is looking for a romantic getaway in the city. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you for a memorable anniversary!
Lovely place. I stayed in a contemporary room that had a fire place, fridge, large flat screen TV and coffee machine. My rate for the night included a wine and cheese plate sampler that I enjoyed as a late night snack. The staff were all incredible! I was able to park in their covered garage. I aslo had a complimentary breakfast included at Madison Grill. The restaurant is very well decorated in purple hues and the food was delicious! I'm looking forward to staying in a heritage room when I stay here again in May. Highly recommend!
